Geetkamal Hans is a molecular biology lab technician in the company and is a dedicated and determined Biochemist and Molecular Biologist. Her graduate research used many molecular techniques to develop strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions produced from agricultural soils. Her academic career has led her to discover that Archaea produce Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas but also a powerful greenhouse gas.

Having being part of the Kelowna lifestyle for about 15 years, she has developed a passion for the outdoors and integrated her career with helping the environment. Some days, she loves to take time out of her day to close her eyes and just relax underneath the sky and other days, wants to do trilling adventures and the unexpected. She lives life to the fullest.
