Sales Representative

Innovate Phytoceuticals provides a wide range of expert services to the Nutraceutical, Food, Cannabis, Pharmaceutical, Agriculture, Pet Product and Pest Management Product industries. Services include regulatory consulting, GMP & product compliance, methods development, project management, safety assessments, efficacy assessments, formula development and research.

With our laboratory building scheduled for completion in spring 2019, Innovate Phytoceuticals will be an all- encompassing regulatory, analytical, clinical and product development service provider dedicated to fostering innovation in a variety of industries. We are innovation leaders; meeting client needs to bring products from conceptualization to the consumer. We strive to deliver our clients with excellence in all their regulatory and product research/development needs. Additionally, we can offer assistance securing research partnerships and funding for studies. Our services will include, standardized and non-standardized analytical services, product formulation and IP development, shelf life stability studies along with preservative challenge testing, to name a few. We are putting together a team of laboratory specialists who are intimately familiar with the latest technologies in molecular and analytical fields. Innovate Phytoceuticals boasts a custom built, state of the art facility, allowing us to offer novel and leading-edge workflows, with tremendous discovery capabilities. Innovate Phytoceuticals endeavors to exceed expectations in all services and industries, to promote innovative concepts and bring them to fruition.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strategic account plans and attain financial objectives
  • Lead business development
  • Grow sales by seeking new business opportunities, using industry knowledge and networking
  • Build long-term growth strategies based on your understanding of competition and key market factors
  • Develop strong product & service knowledge in order to propose valuable solutions & relations to customers
  • Pro-actively work with general manager and CEO on a regular basis regarding strategy, sales results and market trends
  • Travel to tradeshows and clients when required

Minimum Qualifications / skills:

  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience in related industry
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline
  • Results oriented with strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify customers’ needs and sell solutions
  • Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and strong presentation skills
  • Pro-active, highly motivated, detail oriented and a problem solver
  • Able to coordinate all customer activities
  • Familiarity with nutraceuticals industry considered an asset
  • Fluency in french not required but considered an asset
  • Requires a valid driver’s license
